Services

Establishing custom health & safety programs

There is no cookie-cutter OH&S program - each one is built specifically for the organization, their industry, and what they stand for. Bastion creates programs which are designed to go above and beyond industry standards. We provide programs in many formats, including 100% paperless at no additional cost or yearly fees.

Training key staff members

We ensure all supervisors are educated on the legal responsibilities they carry with their role. Our training ensures that the organizations we support are in compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations.

Managing WorkSafeBC files

We manage all injury files to ensure workers are being assisted to return to their regular duties, through modified tasks and internal programs. We also offer paperless, real-time safety document tracking which doesn’t incur a costly subscription fee. Managing your injury files effectively will save your organization thousands of dollars in the long run.

Preparing for COR designations

We carry out full reviews of OH&S programs, including internal safety audits which measure against the BC government’s COR (Certificate of Recognition) audits. If you pass our audits, you will pass the COR audits.

Safety auditing

A safety audit doesn’t lay blame, but rather highlights opportunities for your company to improve. By including stakeholders from every corner of your organization, members feel a sense of ownership with the safety program and look forward to positive change.

Development of Category 1/2/3 traffic plans

With over two decades of experience in traffic operations, management plans, and road construction, Bastion provides WorkSafeBC & MOT compliant traffic management plans which are sealed and stamped by a certified traffic engineer.

The Team

Lisa Jung has been involved in the Health & Safety industry for over 25 years, with proven success in delivering effective and custom-tailored OH&S plans. Lisa’s specialties include managing WorkSafeBC claims and assisting companies with COR designations.

Laura Grace has worked in Accounting and Business Management for over 15 years, helping businesses to achieve their financial goals. With a focus on developing processes, information systems, and accounting accuracy, she is able to help Bastion operate efficiently and effectively to better serve your organization.
